what i want to do & what I want to remember:

Last summer I went to London and Estonia.  London met all my expectations (which were pretty high) and Estonia surprised me in great ways.  Right after I came home from the trip I wrote down a list of things I wanted to do and a list of things I wanted to remember.

I wanted to...
  • Spend more time in parks.
  • Use more public transportation.
  • Walk more.
  • Find people with good attitudes.
  • Do my own thing.
  • Stay away from people with bad attitudes.
  • Tell people what I think more.
  • Find someone who goes out of there way to be with me.
  • Go out of my for more people.
  • Never worry.
What I wanted to remember...
  • My new friends
  • Uneven pavements
  • Epic building made of stone
  • That I like to sing, dance, play with children, meet new people, write, go places I have never been, window shop,
  • open markets
  • plays/musicals
  • Peter Pan
A month later I wrote this "Went to Seattle and back after moving out of the Mansa house.  Seattle reminded me of all the things I want to do and all the things I want to remember from London & Estonia. Back to school with no place to live is where I am at, at the moment"

Now six months later I look at those lists again and realize that I failed to do and to remember most of the things on them. Finishing school and moving to L.A. is where I am at, at the moment.

Maybe I won't forget this time.

"HIPSTERVILLE U.S.A."

TEASER

INT. TWO BEDROOM APARTMENT-EARLY MORNING

On a foggy, early morning, WESLEY, tries to quietly get out of the front door of an eclectically homey apartment. His long legs shove a box of records, while he caries his guitar, some DVD’s and a few clothes draped over his shoulder.

OFF SCREEN Sally, a strikingly pretty girl with long blonde hair and fair skin, walks out of her bedroom toward Wesley, she’s wearing an oversized, vintage Led Zeppelin T-shirt that’s long enough to hide her underwear, but short enough to expose her skinny legs.

INTO FRAME she grabs the door, holding it open for Wesley. Wesley stops in the doorway for a moment and looks at her longingly, like he is trying to say something, but nothing comes out. His wavy brown hair frames his beautiful face, his good looks have been considered to be on the same level as Jim Morrison. He shoves the box of records fully out the door of the apartment and into the Hallway. He steps out of the doorway. Sally lets go of the door leaving the two starring at the opposite sides of the door.

EXT. OUTSIDE THE APARTMENT-MOMENTS LATER
Wesley loads his things into his junky, 1961 Volkswagen Beetle. He gets in the car, the engine roars.

INT. WESLEY’S CAR-SAME TIME
Wesley drives down the road. He looks into his rear view mirror. Camera zooms in on the rear view mirror slowly revealing Sally standing on her balcony smoking a cigarette. The Camera zooms all the way into Sally’s Face. Tears stream down her face.
FADE OUT.
